Gisele Bündchen is “truly grateful” for her new life as a mom of three.
The supermodel shares two children, Benjamin and Vivian, with her ex-husband, Tom Brady. She welcomed her third child — her first with Joaquim Valente — in February 2025. Bündchen and Valente wed later that year in December.
In May 2025, she reflected on her first three months with a newborn in the house during an interview with Vogue France.
"Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I'm back in control of my routine. As any new mom knows, it's incredible how much sleep — or lack of it — can change everything!" the Lessons author said. "But once again, I feel truly grateful: being able to be home with my kids and enjoy every moment with them is priceless."
Valente and Bündchen began dating in June 2023 after initially sparking romance rumors a year prior. Valente is a third-generation practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and was Bündchen’s instructor following her divorce from Brady. In October 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Valente and Bündchen were expecting their first child together.

Bündchen and Valente welcomed their baby in February 2025. TMZ was the first to report the news at the time, though no details — including the baby’s name or sex — were initially shared.
Following the news of the baby’s arrival, a source exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that the newborn was a boy.

Shortly after her son’s birth, Bündchen marked her first Mother’s Day as a mom of three by sharing the first photos of her and Valente’s newborn on Instagram.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life...Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived,” the supermodel wrote alongside a photo of her cradling her son, who sported an “I ❤️ Mom” onesie.
She continued, “To all the mothers out there, your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe. I see you, I honor you."
His middle name is River

Although Bündchen and Valente have yet to share their baby’s first name, a source exclusively revealed to PEOPLE in February 2025 that the newborn’s middle name was River.
Like his siblings — who are named Vivian Lake and Benjamin Rein — River also boasts a water-themed middle name.

Ten months after their baby boy was born, Bündchen and Valente tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Surfside, Fla. Afterwards, a source told PEOPLE that it felt "natural" to get married after welcoming their child.
"It wasn't about outside pressure, or expectations," the insider continued. "It was something she wanted for personal reasons and for her family. She's very, very happy.”
Now, Bündchen is focused on raising her children in Florida, the source added.
"She loves the life she built in Florida," the insider said. "She's focused on family, home life and a slower pace. She's selective about work and prioritizes creating a peaceful environment for her children."

Although Bündchen has remained private about her third child, she's posted about him a number of times over the first few months of his life.
In a July 2025 post celebrating her birthday, Bündchen shared an adorable photo of her and her son peering onto a waterfall together. The model also shared some sweet snaps of her baby boy enjoying his first summer on Instagram in August 2025.
“Thank you, summer, you’ve been so good to us,” she captioned the post, which included a photo of her cradling her baby while they lounged on a beach bed.
In an October 2025 post, Bündchen shared a snap of Benjamin and his baby brother playing the piano together. “There's only one thing more precious than our time... It's who we choose to spend it with,” she captioned the carousel.
In December 2025, Bündchen reflected on how her baby boy's birth changed her life in a sentimental Instagram post. In the post, she included snaps of herself during her pregnancy as well as some with her son and her husband.
