Donald Trump has declared one of his closest aides will "never leave me," according to a bombshell new book.

New York based writers Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan's new exposé, Regime Change, draws attention to Natalie Harp, his glamorous blonde 34-year-old aide. Harp has spent years shadowing the 80-year-old president, earning herself the nickname "the human printer" after reportedly carrying a portable printer everywhere she goes so she can hand him news stories, social media posts and information he requests.

The book elaborates on previous reports about Harp, who once credited the president with saving her life after his 2018 Right to Try legislation allowed her to access experimental cancer treatments during her own personal battle with cancer. According to the authors, Harp is constantly on standby with a laptop, ready to search for information requested by the president.

The authors have also revealed how President Trump described her loyalty to his staff. The book says, "Trump had taken to telling his staff that Natalie (or 'Nathalie,' as he would call her, using a French pronunciation) was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and kids. 'All of you will go off and make money,' he would say. 'She’ll never leave me.'"

Her unwavering dedication reportedly even unsettled White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The president is also said to have kept deeply personal letters written by Harp, including one where she declared to him, "You are all that matters to me."

Another allegedly read, "I don’t ever want to let you down," while a further note said she wanted to be able to talk to him about "everything and nothing."

According to the book, the situation became so unusual that Wiles found herself wondering, "Where am I?" Harp is also reportedly the aide who typically holds the phone Trump uses to post on Truth Social, often typing the posts herself.

The book claims she was the person who showed Trump footage of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk's death in September, and also ensured both authors received copies of an unusual essay praising the president. Trump reportedly described the essay's author as a historian. However, the writers discovered he was actually golfer Gary Player's caddy, who simply enjoys reading history books.

The document compared Trump favourably with some of history's most notorious rulers, including Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Attila the Hun, Napoleon and Genghis Khan. Trump later referenced the essay when discussing the power he holds during his second term.

The book also claims Harp has enthusiastically backed President Trump's efforts to redecorate the White House. It says, "One morning, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt entered the Oval Office to find Donald Trump clutching a tube of superglue and attempting to affix gold decorations to the marble fireplace mantel.

"As he was known to prefer his own aesthetic handiwork to anyone else’s, the sight of the President squeezing glue onto gilded appliques and mounting them on the wall himself surprised no one in his inner circle. ... When Trump asked White House residence staff what they thought of the glittering display, most responses were muted, but his devout aide Natalie Harp would gush with delight."
