Former 76ers guard Dalen Terry lands deal with Warriors in free agency

The Philadelphia 76ers brought in Dalen Terry on a two-way deal later in the 2025-26 season in an effort to bring in more depth at the wing spot at a time they were a bit thin at times. He was converted to a standard deal late in the season and played 14 games for the Sixers while averaging 4.1 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.6 rebounds.
As the Sixers move forward with their offseason, they had to waive Terry to make room for the addition of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency. After a month in free agency, Terry has reportedly landed a deal with the Golden State Warriors as he finds another opportunity in the league.

Terry was the No. 18 pick of the 2022 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls and has played 218 games between Chicago and Philadelphia. With the Warriors needing some depth and somebody who can bring a defensive ability, Terry makes a lot of sense for this group.
