There’s no doubt KATSEYE is living large on their Wildworld Tour, and they’re giving PEOPLE an inside look at how they pull it off.

It’s been one year since the group — who came together on the docuseries Popstar Academy: Katseye and released their debut EP in 2024 — took the Beautiful Chaos Tour around the world, and now the singers are back onstage conquering their sophomore circuit of shows following the release of their third EP, Wild, which features hits “Pinky Up” and “Animal.”

Daniela Avanzini, 22, Lara Raj, 20, Megan Skiendiel, 20, and Yoonchae, 18, kicked off the tour’s North American leg in Miami on Tuesday, Oct. 13. After starting overseas, in the U.K. and Europe, it was time for their stage looks to get a little revamp to bring something “fresh” to their fans, who they lovingly call EYEKONS.

“For our second tour, we wanted to elevate our looks while keeping the playful, bold energy that feels so KATSEYE,” Lara says of the group, who are global brand ambassadors for haircare and color brand Matrix.

Their “individual personalities” shine through their curated outfits, especially with their personal touches. Lara, for example, is famous for customizing her bindis on the road, as a nod to her Indian heritage — “It makes it feel more like me. It’s such a small detail, but it can completely elevate an outfit,” she says — while Megan represents her Chinese culture by wearing her jade bracelet.

“Whether it’s jewelry, accessories or specific styling details, we love being able to celebrate our backgrounds while adding our own personal flair,” shares Daniela.

When they come to the drawing board, the group and their creative director Humberto Leon, also focus on creating a “cohesive” feel between all the outfits — which Yoonchae sums up as “confident and powerful” — and it truly is a collaborative experience.

“We’ve loved being part of the process and seeing everything come together,” says Megan. Between getting the designs on paper and making them come to life, there’s always fittings and “little adjustments” made along the way, but that’s what makes the journey “exciting,” she adds.

Getting the chance to experiment with different aesthetics comes naturally for Lara, with Megan explaining that “she loves expressing herself through beauty, fashion or performance, and you never know what she’ll come up with next.”

And with plenty of pieces between the four fashion-lovers, there’s always room to try something new.

“We’re always borrowing little things from each other, especially when someone has a cute top, accessory or makeup product we want to try,” Daniela shares. “We’re all pretty comfortable sharing, so there’s definitely a lot of ‘Wait, can I borrow that?’ happening backstage. It’s one of the fun parts of touring together. Sharing clothes and getting ready together is part of the experience.”

Preparation isn’t just in the rehearsals, adds Yoonchae. For her, the attention to detail lasts all the way up until the show ends, noting that “for quick changes, I try to stay calm and focused, and I always double-check my outfit to make sure everything is secure before going on stage.”

It also takes time to fine-tune each of the members’ glam routines, because “stage-proof products are everything,” says Daniela.

She explains, “With all the lights, heat and dancing, you need products that won’t budge when you’re sweating. You want everything to stay in place but still look effortless. It’s all about finding products that can survive a full performance and still keep you looking good under the lights.”

There may be a lot of sartorial action going on up where KATSEYE performs, but their fans provide an equally bold fashion show around the arenas they sing in.

“Our dress code is come as your most confident self,” says Lara. “Think KATSEYE-inspired looks: fun, a little edgy, Y2K vibes, statement accessories, cute makeup and outfits you can dance in all night.”

“We love seeing EYEKONS put their own spin on our style, whether that’s recreating one of our iconic looks or wearing something that feels totally you,” she continues, adding a message for fans coming to see them perform live: “Just make sure you’re comfortable, can move around and have your concert essentials ready. Most importantly, bring your energy, be yourself and get ready to have the best time with us”

KATSEYE’s North American leg will continue through Nov. 28 in Mexico City, Mexico before the members — who made their Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut on Sunday, Oct. 18 — return to Texas for 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Ball in December.
