LOOKOUT is returning in 2027 with a stacked lineup of ’90s alternative rock royalty, led by LIVE, Stone Temple Pilots and 4 Non Blondes.
The travelling rock fest will hit a whopping 10 locations across Australia next March, with shows locked in for Adelaide, Bendigo, Canberra, Melbourne, Mornington, Wollongong, Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Broadbeach and Brisbane. Aussie alt-rock legends Magic Dirt will also join the international heavyweights across the run.
LIVE – ‘Lightning Crashes’
For LIVE, the tour will bring the band behind enduring alt-rock staples Lightning Crashes, I Alone, All Over You and Lakini’s Juice back to Australian stages.
The Pennsylvania rockers have sold more than 23 million albums worldwide across their career, with 1994 blockbuster Throwing Copper shifting more than 10 million copies and topping the Billboard 200. Its follow-up, 1997’s Secret Samadhi, also debuted at #1 in the US.
They’ll share co-headlining duties with Stone Temple Pilots, who themselves have clocked up more than 70 million album sales since exploding onto the scene with their 1992 debut, Core.
Featuring classics including Plush, Sex Type Thing and Wicked Garden, the album launched STP into the upper echelons of ’90s alternative rock. The band’s current lineup features founding members Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz alongside vocalist Jeff Gutt, who joined the fold in 2017.
But arguably the biggest curveball on the LOOKOUT bill comes courtesy of 4 Non Blondes, who reunited in 2025 after more than three decades apart.
Linda Perry and co. famously released just one studio album, 1992’s Bigger, Better, Faster, More!, before disbanding in 1994, with its gigantic single What’s Up? becoming one of the era’s defining alt-rock anthems.
The reunited lineup features Perry and founding bassist Christa Hillhouse alongside original touring members Dawn Richardson and Roger Rocha.
And the reunion isn’t purely a nostalgia exercise either, with 4 Non Blondes set to release a new studio album in 2027 – their first collection of new material since their debut more than three decades ago.

Rounding out the LOOKOUT lineup are homegrown heroes Magic Dirt, with Adalita and co. bringing their own hefty contribution to the tour’s ’90s alt-rock credentials.
The Geelong legends have been kicking around since 1991, building a devoted following through their famously ferocious live shows and a catalogue spanning more than three decades of Australian alternative rock.
Tickets to LOOKOUT 2027 go on sale to the general public from 1pm local time on Wednesday, 2nd September, following a series of presales kicking off on Monday, 31st August.
