On Thursday, Oct. 22, the Home Alone alum, 46, shared a snap of his 5-year-old son Dakota’s recent drawing on Instagram. In the caption, Culkin joked that he was “mildly jealous” of the adorable drawing that featured a warning sign for “bad gise.”
“When your 5 year old son makes a piece of artwork that you’re mildly jealous of…” he captioned the photo.
In addition to Dakota, the engaged couple share son Carson, whom they welcomed in 2022. The loving parents are notoriously private when it comes to their children, with Song telling Bustle in a January 2025 cover story that they intentionally try to shield them from the spotlight.
“My son was like, ‘Why is that man taking pictures of you, mama?’ ”she recalled one instance when she was photographed at a soccer game. “You could take pictures of me all day. I don’t care. But when it’s your kids, it’s different. They didn’t ask for this life.”
Song recently opened up about sharing a special moment with her kids, sharing how it became an indicator of how she’s raising her boys.
“So this past August, Mack kind of re-proposed to me and it was really sweet,” Song recalled of Culkin on a recent episode of Kylie Kelce‘s Not Gonna Lie podcast. “I was coming home from Running Point and my mom texted me. She was like, ‘Are you wearing makeup?’ And I was like, ‘What?!’”

Culkin went all out for his romantic surprise, including their two young sons in the special moment.
“He had flowers all by the front door and my two boys, and I walk up and I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ ” Song said.

But the sweet moment turned hilarious when Culkin tried to get their sons to help with the re-proposal.
“He looked at my boys and said, ‘Okay, what do you say to Mama?’ ” Song said. “And my youngest went, ‘Rams’ house!’ Because he’s so used to me doing callbacks. He’s used to me doing, ‘Who’s house?’ ‘Rams’ house!’ I’ve trained my kids well.”
Song is a longtime fan of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers, sharing her love of the teams with her kiddos.
“Mack was like, ‘We rehearsed, and we rehearsed, ‘Will you marry us?’ But no,” Song quipped. “My son knew, Rams’ house.”
