Jenny Vang's parents are enjoying their newest role — being grandparents

The proud mom shared a few clips of her parents displaying their amazing grandparent skills in a video on her account

Now, she tells PEOPLE why it's so special seeing her parents step into this role

Jenny Vang's parents are taking their newest role as grandparents very seriously.

The creator, who shares videos of her life on TikTok under the handle @masfamily_, posted an adorable video of her parents interacting with her kids. "POV parents that take being grandparents very serious," Vang wrote over a clip of her mom lifting her daughter into her lap.

"1. Diligent with feeding their big back grandbabies during play breaks," text read as the clip continued to show Vang's mother carefully feeding her daughter a bottle and then wiping her mouth.

"2. Not afraid of the possibility of getting snot in their mouths," Vang wrote as the video switched to show her father playing with her daughter's doll. "*Sage hates the nose frida so gotta do it on her doll first," Vang explained as she captured her dad demonstrating on the doll and then moving to use it on her daughter.

She went on to praise her dad wiping snot with his bare hands from her daughter's face and showed him getting down on all fours to play with his grandkids. "4. They get down on the ground to play with their grandbabies," Vang wrote.

Now, Vang tells PEOPLE why it's so special to watch her parents be so present with her kids, explaining that her family is "incredibly close."

"My kids are at my parents' house every day, and they are incredibly close. My parents have been deeply involved from the very beginning, helping raise my children from the moment they were born," says Vang. "They are loving, present and actively involved in their lives, and that closeness is reflected in the strong bond they share and the way they show up for our family every single day."

"My kids love doing just about everything with my parents. Whether it's shopping, hiking, playing at the park, having bonfires, camping or cruising around in Papa's Jeep, these moments mean the world to them," she continues. "My mom has a way of making even the simplest moments feel special, and my dad turns everyday activities into memories. You can really see how happy and fulfilled they are when they're together."

For Vang, watching her parents with her kids "melts" her heart – especially since her parents, who are immigrants, worked hard while she was growing up to give her every opportunity.

"It truly melts my heart. My parents are immigrants who worked tirelessly to give us a better life, and growing up that often meant long hours and little time together," explains Vang. "Now, watching them pour all their love, time and presence into my children feels very full circle."

"As a daughter and now as a parent myself, I truly see and understand everything they've sacrificed in a whole new way. They are our support system and the backbone of our family, and I honestly wouldn't be where I am today – as a parent or a person — without my parents' love, sacrifices and constant support," she continues. "My kids get the version of my parents that had to wait to exist, and that means everything to me."

As for seeing the response from the Internet, Vang says it made her so happy to see a genuine moment with her family go viral.

"It made my heart so happy. Knowing that a simple, genuine moment between my parents and my kids could bring so much joy to others was truly touching," she says. "I started sharing these moments just for fun, never imagining they would resonate the way they did."

"Seeing how many people connected with the love, pride and closeness between grandparents and grandchildren made me feel deeply appreciative of being able to share something so meaningful," continues Vang. "We share these moments simply as they are — real and full of love, and the kindness and encouragement we receive in return is something we're truly grateful for."
