Oasis musician Noel Gallagher has been announced as the next star to feature on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s show Chicken Shop Date.

The 59-year-old singer-songwriter will be the third guest to appear in the final season of the hit YouTube series, where Dimoldenberg interviews celebrities in local chicken restaurants formatted as a date.

Dimoldenberg, 32, uploaded a video showing the two seated across from one another inside a chicken restaurant.

Her channel also uploaded a photo featuring the pair with the caption: "definitely, maybe Noel Gallagher on Chicken Shop Date."

The episode is scheduled to be released on Friday and will be available to stream on YouTube and Netflix.

It comes ahead of the singer heading back on the road alongside his brother, Liam Gallagher, for the Britpop band’s Oasis Live ’27 tour.

The upcoming tour will see the band perform shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland.

The group have had eight UK number one singles and eight UK number one albums, with Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Roll With It among their best-known hits.

Dimoldenberg announced in September that the show, which has more than three million subscribers on YouTube, was coming to an end after more than a decade.

On her Instagram, Dimoldenberg wrote that she never thought she’d bring Chicken Shop Date to a close “but I feel like it’s now time to move on from this adventure and onto a new one”.

The final season of Chicken Shop Date consists of six episodes and has featured appearances from singers Role Model, also known as Tucker Pillsbury, and Jorja Smith.

The presenter began the series when she was just 17, and moved it to YouTube in 2014.

Some of the most memorable episodes featured interviews with Andrew Garfield, Billie Eilish, Cher, Louis Theroux and Jack Harlow.

She wrote: “When I was 17 I had a fantastic idea that I might meet the love of my life on a date in a chicken shop.

“I’ve spent my entire twenties sitting across from the most incredible people, people I’d always dreamt of meeting. All of them charmed me (some more than others) and I definitely charmed them.

“To me the show is my very own romcom and I have loved creating so many stories for you to watch. I am so grateful to everyone who has followed me on this journey and found some joy in these episodes.”
