Prince Harry 'missed the sense of belonging in the UK' ahead of shock return with Meghan Markle

Prince Harry "never stopped missing home," a source has claimed, amid his shock return to the UK this week.
GB News previously confirmed that theDuke and Duchess of Sussex are sensationally moving back to the UK for "an extended period of time" after Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, were enrolled in British schools.
While Harry's High Court and security-plagued trip to Britain last month included reuniting King Charles with his two children, the monarch was actually not made aware of the move until August 16.
This has led some to speculate that the Sussexes have rushed through the move - something vehemently denied by one source, who told People: "It’s something Harry has been thinking about for a while."
According to the outlet, a source insisted that Harry and Meghan have returned to the UK "step by step," adding that the opportunity for their children to grow up here is a driving factor.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliamstold GB News last week that the duke is without a "proper job" in the US, adding that he has "no future" there.
A source echoed this sentiment to the outlet, claiming that Harry has "missed that sense of connection and belonging - Britain is still home in many ways".
They added: "Harry never really stopped missing home."
How long the family will stay in the UK has remained a mystery - an "extended period of time" can be interpreted in many ways. "It could be six months, it could be a year, it could be more," a source previously said.
But Harry is said to want his children to experience the UK enough to "understand the world he grew up in and where their family comes from."

"It’s not necessarily a forever thing," the source caveats.
But for the King - who was said to be delighted at his chance to see his grandchildren for the first time in four years last month - he is simply happy to have his youngest son and his family back on his doorstep.

"The King would love to have Harry around," a source close to the Royal Household told the magazine.
However, they also add that the monarch "will want to see his sons together over time".
There is no doubt that this presents the best opportunity, but the chances still seem low.
Prince William is said to have been left "extremely unhappy" when he was informed of the move.
Data from YouGov and The Times yesterday revealed that the majority of Britons would like to see reconciliation between the brothers, though just 32 per cent feel it is possible.

Despite this, sources remain insistent. One insider said it will be "very hard for the family to ignore their presence," while a second pleaded: "In time, there is a chance it will all heal."
"There are bound to be moments where their worlds overlap," another source claimed.
"Everyone will be watching how those encounters unfold."
