Reba McEntire is being celebrated for yet another memorable milestone, honoring her lasting contribution to the music scene.

For decades, the Oklahoma-born singer has created standout songs, performances and career-defining moments, tied to her enduring legacy. Among these was her long-standing connection with the Grand Ole Opry, one of the most famous and historic institutions in country music.

With a full slate of activities this year, the “I'm a Survivor” hitmaker is honored for a major career milestone, marking 40 years since her official induction into the famed Opry.

In an Instagram post shared by Grand Ole Opry, it features a look back on her early days, showing a throwback glimpse of her performance as a young rising star stepping onto the iconic stage.

“Many memories, stories, and songs have been shared since 1986—and before that too. Happy to be celebrating 40 years with you, @reba!” the caption reads, along with the video of McEntire being introduced by the legendary Grant Turner.

The comment section was filled with heartfelt messages and congratulatory comments pouring in for the music icon.

After making her Opry debut in 1977, McEntire was officially inducted nine years later into the iconic Grand Ole Opry, further solidifying her legacy in country music.

In addition to celebrating her 40-year milestone, fans will be seeing more of the country singer as she joins Suzy Bogguss for her official induction into the Grand Ole Opry.

Set for January 16, the "Outbound Plane" singer will share the stage with McEntire in a special ceremony.

From the Grand Ole Opry to the Grammy Awards 2026, the 70-year-old music icon will be strutting the red carpet after being nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson for the song “Trailblazer.”

The annual music awards will air live on February 1, 2026, on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.
