Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are going their separate ways.
The Summer House stars announced their split following more than four years of marriage in a message posted to their Instagram Stories on Monday, Jan. 19.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they wrote. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” the statement concluded, signed “Amanda & Kyle.”
Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, got engaged in 2018 and tied the knot on Sept. 25, 2021, during an outdoor ceremony at Batula's parents' home in New Jersey (they were originally supposed to wed in September 2020, but they had to postpone the ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
Throughout their relationship, which has been documented on Summer House, the pair has been open about their struggles. In the season 3 premiere of the Bravo series, which aired in March 2019, Cooke even confessed to cheating on Batula, claiming he "blacked out" during a "guys' trip" and "woke up with a girl in [his] bed."
Recently, rumors that they had split began to swirl when Batula claimed that Cooke spent the night at a fan’s apartment in the trailer for season 10 of Summer House.
“Kyle fell asleep at some fan’s apartment, and came home at, like, 6:30 in the morning,” Batula told Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard, as both expressed their disapproval of the situation.

Elsewhere in the teaser, Cooke said he feels unsupported by his wife as he pursues his DJ career: “I played the biggest gig of my life, and Amanda couldn’t care less. I don’t know what matters to her anymore.”
He then told Batula that he thinks their relationship problems stem from issues with “compatibility, chemistry [and] intimacy.”
During an emotional conversation later on, Miller suggested that Batula give Cooke an ultimatum that if he continues to treat her that way, she will leave him.

Cooke later denied Batula’s version of events during an interview with PEOPLE.
“There's no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” Cooke acknowledged. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party.”
“I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.,” he continued. “Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened."
