Lisa Rinna revealed the Traitors stay up working “three hours longer” than the Faithfuls on The Traitors

The reality star broke down what happens before the Traitor’s Turret during a promotional event for her new memoir in New York City on Thursday, Feb. 26

Rinna’s latest book, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, was released on Tuesday, Feb. 24

The Traitors don’t get much sleep on the hit reality competition show.

The Traitors season 4 contestant Lisa Rinna revealed details about how much later the Traitors stay up than the Faithfuls during a conversation with Gary Janetti for her new memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, in New York City on Thursday, Feb. 26.

Though Rinna was promoting her latest book, released Tuesday, Feb. 24, the reality star dished on The Traitors ahead of its season 4 finale. When Janetti asked Rinna, 62, how the show’s production team keeps the Traitor’s Turret classified, she explained that the Traitors pretend to go to sleep before being called for their secret meeting.

“They have everyone go to sleep in the castle,” Rinna said, while winking. “And then we Traitors are called out. Everybody's called out to go home, one by one.”

“So let's say I get called, instead of going out, I take a left and I go down to where they do the round table and I wait until my fellow Traitors come down. It's a stealth mission,” she explained, adding the Traitors “work three hours longer” while the Faithfuls “get to go night night.”

“So you go to work and get back or go to your room in the castle at 2 or 3 in the morning,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Rinna admitted she volunteered for the Traitors Banquet Murder for more "camera time."

“I knew I was putting myself in the hot seat [during the banquet murder in episode 7],” she said. “You don't really want to do that because if you f--- up or if something happens, you're going to go.”

She continued, “But I had the most fabulous outfit that I knew — I call it a pin, but we're going to call it an amulet because that's what they say it is — and I was just like, I'm going to do it because guess what? I get all the camera time.”

Rinna’s fourth book and first memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, marks her return to writing in over a decade, following 2012’s The Big, Fun, Sexy Sex Book.

"From her career, to her personal life, to spilling all the tea," an official synopsis reads. "If she’s experienced it ... you better believe she’s gonna talk about it!” The same synopsis also quotes the author, who teases: “This mouth has gotten me in so much trouble.”

The book, whose title is inspired by one of her most iconic RHOBH confessionals, is a tell-all of the reality star’s life.

“I don't know if everyone is ready for all of the truth I am unloading in this book," Rinna told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "But I was certainly ready to tell it.”

"Life comes with a lot of ups and downs, and so much of it gets lost 'in the editing,' if you will. It was time to share the director's cut,” she added. “I put so much of myself into this book; the good, the bad and the wackadoodle. It feels really good to see it finally come together.”

The Traitors season 4 is streaming now on Peacock. You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It is available now.
