The end of HBO's Industry is near.
Season 4 of the hit drama that chronicles the lives of young bankers navigating London’s high-pressure finance world wrapped on March 1, leaving fans with a single burning question: Will the series return?
Thankfully, they don't have to wait for the answer. Days before the season 4 finale, HBO announced that Industry had been renewed.
“We’re privileged to have joined the small, esteemed club of dramas that have run for five seasons on HBO,” creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay said in a statement.
They continued, “This March marks a decade since we first began to conceive of the world of ‘Industry’ and it exists because of the unwavering faith and vision of our partners and former partners at HBO."
Here's everything to know about Industry season 5, and whether or not it will be the show's last.

Yes, HBO renewed Industry for a fifth season in February 2026, days before the final episode of season 4 aired. The series' fourth season saw Pierpoint grads Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) navigating one of their biggest scandals yet, with repercussions that tested both of their ambitions and loyalties.
None of which should have been a surprise to fans. Back in May 2025, Abela teased in an interview with The Guardian that season 4 felt like "the most high-camp, crazy villain origin story of all time."

The official plot details for Industry's fifth season haven't been released. But fans can expect their favorite character arcs and storylines to wrap up as the show's creators confirmed that season 5 will be its last.
“For some time now we have been thinking about how best to end the show on an unparalleled high,” Down and Kay said in a joint statement. “Unlike some of our characters, we know when to leave a party."
The pair, who based the series on their experiences as former bankers, thanked their "evangelical fan base" for tuning in since day one.
"The characters will live on because of their world-class performances," they continued, "Seeing the HBO ident in front of our work will never stop being a thrill. It remains the best place to make television, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration well into the future.”
